Rain is one of the seasons that is often awaited by farmers, especially for those who live in barren areas. Because we know that plants really need water to grow and develop.

Not only that, rain also plays an important role for every creature that lives on earth. Rain can be a source of drinking water as well as an economic source for some people. Therefore, rain is very beneficial for human survival.

Rain can occur due to natural processes on earth. In general, rain is a cycle of water circulation from the earth to the atmosphere and back again to the earth and takes place continuously. So that rain can occur through a certain process.

Understanding Rain

Rain is an event of precipitation in liquid form or the fall of liquid from the atmosphere in liquid or frozen form. This can happen if there is a thick layer of the atmosphere to look for temperatures above the melting point of ice above the earth's surface.

Rain that occurs on earth is also often referred to as the process of condensing water vapor in the atmosphere into droplets of water that are heavy enough to fall on land. In addition, rain also has various sizes, ranging from large grains to small grains.

1. Evaporation (Evaporation)

The first process of rain is the process of evaporation or evaporation. This happens because the sun which always shines on the earth has a heat effect, so that the heat energy makes water in lakes, rivers, seas and other sources on the earth's surface undergo a process of evaporation.

This process is the change of liquid water into gas, so that water turns into water vapor and allows it to rise to the earth's atmosphere. The higher the sun's heat, the greater the amount of water that becomes water vapor that rises into the atmosphere.

2. Condensation (Condensation)

The next process of rain is condensation or condensation. This process occurs when water vapor turns into very small ice particles. This is influenced by the very low air temperature at that altitude.

Then the ice particles that are formed will approach each other and combine with each other, so that they can form clouds. If many particles combine, the cloud that is formed will also be thicker and black. The process of joining ice or water droplets into clouds is often referred to as coalescence.
